EA Sports is working on an official patch for FIFA 09 which probably will be released today or tomorrow. This patch will include these changes:

# Save Replay option available upon online game disconnect.
# Live Season in Direct IP matches
# Fix improbable quick freekick hang
# Online Disconnect when shooting with mouse-wheel.
# Correct some MLS team names
# Fix Mouse & Keyboard controller colour issue (colour chosen in side-select screen did not carry into gameplay)
# Installer images missing
# Allowing special characters to be entered in Account Creation and Sign-in Widget screens
