The Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) is a non-profit professional association established to advance the field of moving image archiving by fostering cooperation among individuals and organizations concerned with the acquisition, preservation, exhibition and use of moving image materials ( Moving Image, Moving List, Moving Man, Moving Mobile Home, Moving Overseas ).

AMIA's members range from those who work solely with moving images to organizations where moving images are only a small part of their collection to individuals who want to protect their personal collection - home movies or small gauge or video - to film buffs concerned with losing our visual heritage.

Individuals responsible for preserving, restoring, and making accessible moving image heritage, including film, television, video, and digital formats. As a profession, moving image archivists also advocate for the acknowledgement of moving images as important educational, historical, Moving Pallet Rack System, Moving Pic, Moving Picture, Moving Pod, Moving Pool Table, and cultural resources.

Moving Image Gateway

The Moving Image Gateway (MIG) is a new service that collects together websites that relate to moving images and sound and their use in higher and further education. The sites are classified by academic discipline, some forty subjects from Agriculture to Women's Studies, collected within the four main categories of Arts & Humanities, Bio-Medical, Social Sciences and Science & Technology. Each site has been evaluated and described by the BUFVC's Information Service, which regularly checks and updates the database. Sites are highlighted which have video or audio streaming. There are some 600 sites on the MIG database at present, Penske Moving Truck, Piano Moving, Pod Moving And Storage, Pod Moving Container, and it continues to grow at the rate of ten per month.
